Construction Update - New photos added

Construction started back in late 2007 with 300,000 cubic yards of dirt being moved. In the spring of 2008 we awarded four different contracts to local vendors in order to complete the project.

The entire facility is expected to be complete by the spring/summer of 2009.

New staff member! Clay Brownlee was recently added to the FNC Park staff as the Operations Assistant. Clay is an Oxford High graduate and a recent Ole Miss graduate with a Park and Recreation management degree. Clay's duties will include operating the concessions stands and assisting the staff as needed. We are excited to have Clay on board!


Our turf manager, Kerry Page, wrote an article for the August, 2008 issue of SportsTurf Magazine. You can read Kerry's article online here, or in this scanned PDF. Good job Kerry!


New Turf Grass Manager - Kerry Page comes to us with over 22 years of experience in the Turf Grass industry. With stints in the professional ranks as head grounds keeper we are proud to call him our own. Kerry most recently completed Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland, Mississippi and after 6 years as Turf Grass Manager at ICC is looking forward to making FNC Park one of the nicest places to play in Mississippi.

Kerry is a member of the Sports Turf Association, Mississippi Turf Grass Association and is annually invited to be part of the grounds crew for the SEC Baseball Tournament held in Hoover,AL. Kerry has two boys, Jonathan 8 and Nathan 10. He is married to Jana Page and they are looking forward to becoming part of the Oxford-Lafayette County community. We are glad to welcome Kerry aboard!
